NACCHO to Grant Up to $75,000 to Support Local Health Departments Working on Climate and Health

Most recent deadline: November 3, 2021. The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), with support from the Climate and Health Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), intends to offer three entities with a maximum of  $25,000 each to supplement ongoing climate change and health adaptation initiatives in local health departments. Past applicants have used the grants to focus on phases of CDC’s BRACE Framework; conduct community outreach; and update data to enhance adaptation planning, climate change policy development, and community preparedness for extreme weather events. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on October 24, 2021. An optional informational webinar will be hosted for interested applicants on September 29, 2021, 2 – 2:30 PM ET.
