The Tribal Climate Change Guide is part of the Pacific Northwest Tribal Climate Change Project (TCCP). The TCCP is part of the L.I.G.H.T. Foundation (LF), is an independent, Indigenous-led, conservation 501(c)(3) nonprofit established on the Colville Indian Reservation in the traditional territory of the Nespelem Tribe in present-day north central Washington State. This supersedes the 2010 Tribal Multi-Hazard Mitigation Planning Guidance. The purpose of this Guide is to mitigation plan reviewers so that they can assess tribal mitigation plans in a fair and consistent manner and to ensure that approved tribal mitigation plans meet the requirements at Title 44 CFR Part 201, including 44 CFR, § 201.7, Tribal Mitigation Planning.
