Most Recent Deadline for Track B & C: August 21, 2024. The Inflation Reduction Act Forest Landowner Support programming provides financial assistance grants for projects that support underserved and small-acreage forest landowner participation in emerging private markets for climate mitigation and forest resilience. The Inflation Reduction Act provides the Forest Service $450 million for Forest Landowner Support which will be made available through a series of funding opportunities. Tracks A and B: U.S. State Governments, U.S. Local Governments, Tribal Governments, Alaska Native Corporations/Villages, Other Tribal Entities, Education Institutions, Non-Profit Entities, For-Profit Entities

Track C: Nonprofit organizations with a mission focused on sustainable forestry and/or forest conservation and demonstrated success in managing competitive regional or national subgrant programs.

Eligible Lands: Nonindustrial private forest land. See NOFO for definition.

Eligible Activities: All proposed activities should support participation of underserved and/or small-acreage landowners in emerging private markets for climate mitigation or forest resilience. See NOFO for example project activities.
