Description

This research was funded with the intent to acquire information concerning Tlingit knowledge about salmon behavior, knowledge about past and present distribution and abundance of different salmon species, and perceptions of change as well as the causes for changes in salmon populations. Information on harvesting technologies, locations and practices along with utilization patterns were also included in the topics that informed the questions asked of interviewees
