Description

North Carolina's Cape Lookout lighthouse has survived hurricanes and Civil War raids, but it won't be able to escape climate-related changes such as rising sea levels. Surprisingly, however, little research currently exists on how to protect cultural resources like those at Cape Lookout National Seashore, according to a new paper in Climatic Change from researchers supported by the Southeast CSC.
