Since 2000, the United States has been participating in negotiations at the World Intellectual Property Organization on ways to protect various intellectual property, including traditional knowledge, genetic resources, and traditional cultural expressions. Professor Rebecca Tsosie from the University of Arizona, Tuscon weighs in.
