The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Portland General Electric Company (PGE) are soliciting proposals for projects that conserve, restore, or enhance the habitat of native anadromous fish species. Successful projects will demonstrate a clear and direct benefit to anadromous fish species or their habitat, exhibit a high likelihood of success, leverage a large amount of matching funds, and utilize the most sustainable and scientifically rigorous approaches. These funds may be used for project planning, implementation, or both. Incorporating communication, outreach, or education as a component of the project is encouraged. The Habitat Support Fund will award approximately $160,000 in grants ranging from $10,000 - $50,000. Preference will be given to projects requesting equal to or less than $35,000; however, exceptionally high-impact projects with a demonstrated need for additional funding may request up to $50,000.
