The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), for grants/cooperative agreements for the following program: The Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA), 1992, Public Law 102-575, Title 34, 3406 (b)(1) and 3406 (b)(23) . The main objectives of the CVPIA for Fiscal Year 2018 is to be able to demonstrate a high probability of contributing to recovery of anadromous species, especially through mitigation of existing threats or factors inhibiting recovery of the species. Open announcement of grants/cooperative agreements opportunities through the CVPIA would facilitate meeting these objectives. Successful applicants will enter into a financial assistance agreement with Reclamation. Period of Performance will not exceed 5 years from date of issuance.
